Studio Colin Polwarth won two awards submitted by Transport for New South Wales to the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (ALIA): The Pacific Highway Upgrade ALIA NSW Infrastructure Award 2021 and the Pacific Highway Upgrade ALIA NSW Regional Achievement Award 2021. The jury commented on the regional award which goes forward to the National Awards later this year: The influence of landscape architects in multi decade Pacific Highway Upgrade has helped shape the planning design and delivery of the largest road infrastructure project in Australian history. Working across local government and regional boundaries this project utilised benchmark processes and guidelines for the project and the state. Studio Colin Polwarth has won awards for the Pacific Highway Upgrade in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
