Beth Hughes is the Head of Architecture and Reader in Architecture at the Royal College of Art London. Beth studied architecture at the University of Technology Sydney where she later taught. She worked for several design practices in Australia before joining the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Rotterdam in 2004, where as an associate she was responsible for projects in London, Latvia, and the Middle East. In 2009 Hughes joined as partner at Point Supreme Architects in Athens, Greece and established her own practice in 2011. Her work has been extensively published and awarded in several international competitions. Beth has taught at the Bartlett UCL, University of Cambridge, University of Liverpool and the University of Syracuse London. Hughes is currently trustee for the V&A East and Thematic Curator for the 2019 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
